Wimi selected by the State as part of France 2030
Wimi is a winner! Our company is proud to be selected by the State #France2030 for digital collaboration, with at the end of the day an envelope of €23 million shared between the 3 winners for the strategic area of 'Cloud Collaborative Office Suites'.
Bruno Le Maire declared: “I am delighted to see the success of this system to support the Confidence Cloud certification. France can be proud of a high-quality ecosystem in this area, and I will pursue this ambitious policy in the service of French and European digital sovereignty.”
Jean-Noël Barrot specifies “SMEs and startups have an essential role to play in the construction of the Cloud of Trust. (...)” and recalls one of the objectives, “to offer the highest level of data protection, in particular with respect to laws with extraterritorial reach.”
The decision was validated by the Prime Minister and was the subject of a press release issued this morning by the General Secretariat for Investment.
Excerpt from the decision letter signed Bruno BONNELL (Secretary General for Investment FRANCE 2030) and Géraldine LEVEAU (Deputy Secretary General):
“(...) The high quality of your project was highlighted, in particular its functional coverage, the care given to the user experience, and the prospects for SecNumCloud certification. We welcome the ambition of your project, which is fully in line with the objectives set by France 2030, in particular our desire to provide our country with high-quality sovereign digital solutions.”
Congratulations to the Wimi team and thanks to the State decision-makers for their renewed confidence! Wimi is continuing its trajectory, determined to become the French and European leader for sovereign and secure digital collaboration.
We also thank our partners on the project: XWiki SAS (Ludovic Dubost), LINAGORA (Michel-Marie MAUDET), Seald (Timothée Rebours), WaToo (Javier Franco Contreras), as well as Orange Business Services (Pascal SAUBION), who will assist us in marketing the Wimi suite.
Next step for our company, the ongoing qualification process #SecNumCloud, with ANSSI - National Agency for Information Systems Security. And also, multiple innovations will soon be available...
